In your faith journey, do you sometimes feel like this man? Tossed about and adrift in the sea of life? As you read my stories, I encourage you to seek the anchor of your soul, Jesus Christ. Through the characters in my novels, you will identify with their wrestling with issues of forgiveness, doubt, and unanswered prayer. Through my stories, I will encourage you to look to the Lord, who is faithful to His children. He is the One who gives you rest when trials toss you about. Remember Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
He can give you rest today. Your trials don’t have to overwhelm you with Jesus on your side. He will call you to follow His leadership, but He is gentle and humble in heart. You don’t have to carry your burden or sorrows alone anymore. God wants to help you and maybe my novels can be used to find encouragement and healing for your soul.
I’m currently editing my fiction novel, A Father’s Shadow. Pastor Rudy Landau strives to be better than his father, but will his struggle with unforgiveness destroy his ministry? I’m also writing a new novel centered around a homeless man and woman searching for a runaway teen to prevent him from connecting with his shady father.
