From the office of Pastor Rudy Landau,
To my readers,
My creator considered it necessary to introduce myself as my story features in the upcoming book. Not that I deserve the attention.
I minister at Abundant Life Church in small town Hunter, Iowa. Like all believers, I have my struggles. Just because I’m a pastor, it doesn’t mean I’m invulnerable. I just wish my weaknesses wouldn’t hamper my outreach and discipleship efforts.
What do I want the most? I may say the healing of broken people through Jesus Christ. This is true, but I want something else that even I’m not aware of in the beginning. Something associated with my father.
Can we just stop talking about him? Yes, the guy that sent the teenage me into a spiritual tailspin. Some sons have profound respect for their fathers, but not me. He lost all of mine that one day. Well, enough discussion.
Before I sign off, I should say that churches do wonders for a pastor’s love life. Or more so for the lack of it. Will I have any chance at love? Read my book for the answer.
Sincerely,
Pastor Rudy Landau
